Susan Nambusi

Susan Nambusi is the Sustainability Specialist for Energy and Environment at Kenya Airways, spearheading initiatives to minimize environmental impact and reduce carbon emissions. With over 13 years in the aviation industry, she has a deep understanding of aviation operations, having previously excelled as a Jet Fuel Data Analyst and Flight operations officer. Susan was instrumental in achieving Kenya’s first successful CORSIA verification, a landmark for the industry. Her expertise extends to various leadership roles, including Vice Chair of the AFRAA Fuel Committee, Chair of the AFRAA Sustainable Aviation Fuel Taskforce and IATA Advisor at ICAO CAEP, among others. An accredited jet fuel inspector and trained CORSIA verifier, Susan actively champions climate change and ESG initiatives, significantly influencing the aviation sector in Kenya and beyond.
