The session will bring together researchers and country representatives to discuss how fiscal policy (subsidies, tax exemptions, etc.) can booster climate-friendly technologies and low-emission vehicles purchase in Asia. The researcher will share observations and findings from recent studies on taxation policies in Asian and Asia-Pacific countries and global experience; country representative will share country-specific experience in the evolvement of supportive fiscal policies.
