Annika Berlin

Annika is an International Development Professional with 15 years of experience working for bilateral and multilateral development and financing institutions across Africa, Latin America and Asia.

Currently, she works as a Programme Management Officer at UNEP’s Sustainable Mobility Unit in Nairobi, Kenya. She set up and leads UNEP’s Africa Support and Investment Platform, leads UNEP’s Global Working Group on Electric Two and Three Wheelers and manages the units emerging gender and e-mobility portfolio.

Before joining the United Nations, Annika worked at the World Bank’s Global Transport Practice and the GIZ on climate change and transport projects in China, Mongolia, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Namibia. She also helped set up the City Climate Finance Gap Fund with GIZ and the European Investment Bank (EIB).
