Daniel is currently heading GIZ’s global transport and climate change programme (BMU funded). From 2011 to 2015, he lived in Beijing coordinating GIZ’s transport portfolio in China. Interested in a broad range of topics (e.g. urban mobility, freight and logistics, electromobility), his passion is to quantify transport emissions and develop strategies to reduce them. Before joining GIZ in 2009, he was a researcher on sustainable mobility at the German think tank Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy.
