Michael Muchiri

Michael Muchiri is a Senior Principal Superintending Engineer at the Ministry of Roads and Transport. Engineer Muchiri has over 20 years of experience in the transport sector with previous work experience in aviation, railway, roads, and the Maritime subsector. He has recently worked as the Head of the Maritime Technology Cooperation Centre (MTCC-Africa), and has also been the Alternate Director to the Principal Secretary State Department for Transport at Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA), National Transport & Safety Authority (NTSA), Kenya Airways (KQ) among others. Eng. Muchiri was the focal point for the Advancing Transport Climate Strategies (TraCS) Project, and is also the focal point for the Promotion of Electric Mobility Project and the IMPROVE Project, both of which are implemented by GIZ together with State Department for Transport as the main project partner.
