Farida Moawad is an urban mobility and sustainable development expert. Currently leading the Urban Mobility Lab at Transport for Cairo (TfC), Ms Moawad has been working on several research projects focusing on building capacity of transport institutions in low- and medium income countries in their transition towards transport decarbonisation. Notably, she has been co-developing the Global NDC Template for Popular Transport in collaboration with the Global Network for Popular Transport (GNPT), and with the support of TUMI.
