Isabelle is a Maritime Transport Specialist at the World Bank where she works on national and regional maritime decarbonisation projects while also participating in the IMO’s climate negotiations. Before joining the World Bank, she spent six years at UMAS International, leading the group’s work on maritime climate policy. Isabelle has a BA in Political and Economic Sciences from RWTH Aachen University (Germany), an MSc in Environmental Policy and Management from Utrecht University (Netherlands) and currently pursues a part-time doctoral degree on climate finance at University College London (United Kingdom).
