Julio Briones

Industrial Civil Engineer and MSc in Transport Economics at the Catholic University of Chile, and MPA at the London School of Economics. Has worked in the Chilean Ministry of Transport Transport as minister advisor and Chief Financial and Regulation Officer of Transantiago (Metropolitan public transport system). Also has worked as a consultant regarding economic appraisal of electric bus projects, public transport reforms, and sustainable mobility planning in Latin American and Asian countries. Transport Policy Professor at the Catholic University of Chile. Joined the GIZ in July 2022 as a technical advisor in Euroclima+ and Moving Chile.
