Mateo is currently working on the electrification of public transportation in Eastern Africa and informal transport reform. Previous to his current position, he worked at MobiliseYourCity’s Global Secretariat, in which he was responsible for capacity building and methodology development on Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs), National Urban Mobility Policies and Investment Programmes (NUMPs) and informal transportation.
