Paola Gómez holds a degree in Family Sciences from the Higher Institute of Family Studies. Besides being passionate about biking around Mexico City, she has over 12 years of experience in public administration across the three levels of government, addressing issues of mobility and road safety. Her notable activities include coordinating programs for the promotion and dissemination of active mobility and participating in the development of local road safety programs. She has also been a consultant for the World Health Organization/Pan American Health Organization (WHO/PAHO) and German Development Cooperation (GIZ). She is currently the Director of Mobility and Road Safety at the Secretariat of Agrarian, Territorial, and Urban Development (SEDATU).
