Paola Tapia Salas

Paola Tapia Salas is the Director of the Metropolitan Public Transport Directorate (DTPM) in Santiago, Chile. She has more than twenty years of experience in management positions in the transport area, including being the first woman to be the Minister of Transport and Telecommunications of Chile. In addition, she is a university professor and member of the Infrastructure Policy Council of Chile (CPl). Director Tapia is also one of the founders of Mujeres en Movimiento and has been named twice as an outstanding woman in transport worldwide by the international organization Women Mobilize Women.
