Racheal Wanyamawi

Racheal Wanyamawi is a Principal Road and Rail Transport Officer at the State Department for Transport, Kenya. She holds a Master’s in Regional Development Studies: Transport from Toyo University, Japan, where her research focused on formalization of paratransit services in Nairobi. She focuses on sustainable urban transport, road safety, and e-mobility, and has contributed to reforms including capacity building of bus operators to formalize the paratransit industry, the development and implementation of the National E-Mobility Policy, ride-hailing regulations, and bus fleet electrification.
