Rito Évora
Rito Évora is the Director of the National Directorate of Industry, Commerce, and Energy of Cape Verde. He previously served as an administrator at the Economic Regulation Agency (ARE), now the Multisectoral Regulatory Agency for the Economy (ARME), the multisectoral regulatory agency of Cape Verde. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the State Polytechnic Academy of Belarus (now the Belarusian State Technical University) and a Master's degree in Energy from the Energy and Environment Institute at the University of São Paulo in Brazil. He is a professional with over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, responsible for the creation and implementation of regulatory mechanisms, institutional policies, public enterprise reforms, and the development of organizations and infrastructures in the areas of electric energy, renewable energies, petroleum product distribution, and water desalination in Cape Verde.
