Verena Flues gained a degree in Political Science and specialization in Environmental Politics from the University Sciences Po in Paris and National Autonomous University in Mexico City. Currently, she is pursuing a second Masters’ degree (MSc) in Transport Planning and Engineering at Napier University Edinburgh. Since 2016, Verena has been working with National and City governments in Latin America, North and Subsaharan Africa to develop transport climate strategies and sustainable mobility policies. With her intercultural, language and didactical skills she has been contributing to the methodological development of the GIZ capacity building.
