Mathias Clayton

Clayton Mathias is Project Development Director for Renewable Fuels at Solarbelt FairFuel, where he develops renewable methanol and sustainable aviation fuel projects across Africa, Asia and Latin America. He spent 17 years in upstream oil and gas, working across engineering, field operations, project development and commercial roles, before transitioning his focus to renewable energy and clean fuels over the past six years. His work now spans green hydrogen, Power-to-Liquid and Biomass-to-Liquid projects, combining international project development with on-site, hands-on experience at operating demonstration facilities.
