Gent Sejdiu has worked in sustainable urban development and finance for more than 24 years, and has an extensive background in strategic project management. He is currently serving as Head of PIU at the Municipality of Prishtina, leading the EBRD-funded public transport reform initiative that is transforming the city's mobility infrastructure towards sustainable solutions.

He is spearheading the implementation of Prishtina's Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan (SECAP), a flagship project co-financed by the EU and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, implemented through GIZ. This comprehensive initiative advances energy efficiency practices and climate change mitigation strategies for Kosovo's capital. His portfolio includes the innovative Germia Park Solar Parking project, which integrates renewable energy infrastructure to promote green mobility and reduce urban carbon emissions. He previously held senior positions at Raiffeisen Bank Kosovo J.S.C., bringing valuable financial sector expertise to infrastructure development projects. His combined experience in finance and sustainable urban development offers unique insights into the challenges and opportunities of energy transition in developing urban centres.
