Nancy Seck is a urban transportation engineer and Head of the General and Technical Studies Division at the Conseil Exécutif des Transports Urbains Durables (CETUD), the urban transport authority in Dakar, Senegal. She works on major urban mobility projects, including the restructuring of Dakar's public transport network, Senegal's transition to electric mobility (IKI and GEF 8 funded), and the Urban Mobility Improvement Project of Senegal. Since joining CETUD in 2018, she has worked extensively on Dakar's Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system and led urban mobility plans for secondary cities such as Mbour, Touba and Diourbel as well as traffic plans for the region of Dakar. She previously worked as a transportation engineer at the Maryland Department of Transportation. Nancy holds a Master of Engineering in Transportation Engineering from Texas A&M University and a BSc in Civil Engineering from Cleveland State University.
