Rodrigo Contreras is a civil engineer with an MSc in Transport Engineering (Universidad de Chile) and over 15 years' experience in transport policy and project appraisal. He has headed methodological departments at both Chile's Ministry of Social Development and SECTRA, Chile's urban transport planning office. Now an independent consultant in transport planning and policy, he authored the session's study on alternative funding for public transport in Latin America.
