Mr Prashant Kumar is a Government of India officer with over 15 years of experience in transport management, infrastructure planning, logistics, and project management. He is currently associated with PM GatiShakti, a flagship initiative of the Government of India aimed at promoting integrated infrastructure planning and enhancing multimodal connectivity across the country.

Earlier, he served for three years in the Ministry of External Affairs, where he was responsible for overseeing Government of India Grant-in-Aid projects in various countries. He brings extensive experience in railway operations and maintenance, transport systems, logistics planning, and inter-sectoral coordination. His professional experience spans both domestic infrastructure development and international development cooperation.
