Yizengaw Yitayih is a Climate Change Senior Expert and Acting Head of the Non-Motorised Transport (NMT) Desk at the Ethiopian Ministry of Transport and Logistics. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Environmental Studies and Land Resource Management, specialising in sustainable mobility policies, electric vehicle infrastructure development, and active transport integration. He works closely with national and international partners to advance transport decarbonisation and low-carbon mobility frameworks in Ethiopia.
